Our weekend stay was great. we were going to Oceans of fun. Arrived before they opened as as it would go grandkid needed restroom. So we decided to swing by hotel just to locate it and let him use public restroom if we could. Explained what was going on and while he was in restroom clerk checked and our room was available. He promptly checked us in so we unloaded suitcase into our room. Didn'thaveto worry about leaving thing in car at the park..

Nice hotel they were having issues with there keys and doors didn’t mention that to us we used the digital key which was fine our friends came back later than us and were locked out and forced to purchase there own room requested a refund yet the hear back. Worst was they knew of the issue and didn’t say anything

3.5 stars!!!!

Overall our stay was great! The free breakfast was a plus. I will say that a couple days that we went down for breakfast that the breakfast area was full of staff that were getting breakfast. So we couldn’t use the waffle maker or the toaster because it was being used by staff and we just didn’t have time to wait. Not a huge deal but I did feel like they could have let the guests eat first. We did not use housekeeping we just asked for towels etc. when we needed them. We only had an issue one day when two housekeepers were talking in the hall and acted like it was a huge inconvenience to give me what I needed. We would stay at this location again. Super close to Worlds of Fun, pool was clean, front desk staff were nice.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. It is very conveniently located close to Worlds of Fun. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The manager who checked us in was very friendly and nice. The only complaint I have is that housekeeping attempted to come into our room at 9:00am while we were still sleeping. If we wouldn’t of had the extra lock on the door she would of came in the room. She even continued to try to come in after realizing the extra lock was on. Needless to say she woke us all up earlier than we had our alarm set for. We were all exhausted from the day before of being at Worlds of Fun all day after traveling to KC from 4 hours away. I was not very happy about this incident. They should know who has checked out and who hasn’t. Especially considering we have until 11:30 to check out.

Excellent, friendly service

We chose this hotel for the indoor heated pool, and the free hot breakfast. Upon arrival, we learned that the pool was closed (due to no fault of their own, someone threw up in it). We were very disappointed as our family was looking forward to swimming. Pablo at the front desk was super nice and got us set up to swim at a hotel just down the block for free. We really appreciated that! Pablo also got us a free crib to use for our toddler. The room was clean, nice and modern. AC worked well and the hot water and water pessure were fabulous. The hot breakfast was great with plenty of options. A woman was cleaning up messes as people made them at breakfast (she was doing a great job keeping it clean). Late checkout was nice. There was also a nice little sun terrace outside with rockers and patio furniture. Only thing not great was the carpet in our room seemed damp and that was kind of a gross feeling, but it wasnt hard to just keep our shoes on while moving about. Thank you for the place to stay for the night and for the excellent service.

Fine, but not good enough to go back

The staff was nice and the lobby was clean and comfortable. As far as the room, the linens and furniture were clean, but the carpet was sticky, there was dried vomit on the wall behind the toilet, the ironing board was severely warped, and the iron itself was grungy. The breakfasts were of decent quality and variety, but I did accidentally eat pork because there were no ingredients or title listed for the little omelet bites, or other foods in daily rotation for that matter. Overall our stay was fine, but considering the number of options in KC, we’ll probably stay elsewhere next time.
