The bath water in the bathroom is not hot, and after communicating with the front desk, it is still not solved. The sound of the alarm kept going noise at night until three o 'clock in the morning, so that people could not sleep, it was really bad, the hotel staff knew about it, no one to solve it, almost the whole building heard it. Having to catch a plane at 5am and not being able to sleep is a terrible experience!

This hotel should be condemned

Where do I begin? Let’s start with I booked for business using our online booking tool and we had a change of dates due to the holiday. One month before my trip, I tried contacting the hotel via email and phone call multiple times with no answer. The travel agent even tried unsuccessfully. We had to do a separate booking to add the extra days onto the stay. When it came to the check-in, they couldn’t retrieve the booking initially because the front desk didn’t know how to read a passport that shows last name first and then proceeded to argue with me that I booked under the wrong first name. Now to the quality of the room, the toilet seat was completely broken, the toilet brush was dirty and just laying on the floor. There was rust everywhere and the shower water ran brown the entire time. The bed sheets were obviously dirty and there were several stains on the linens and roaches. The housekeeper informed me that there is only one towel per room even though we had booked a double room, and the front desk did nothing about it. We were there for 4 days and the room wasn’t even cleaned once. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Now to the service, the front desk was not helpful at all, there is a room service menu that says room service is available 24 hours a day, however every time we tried to order something, room service was not available. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE, We will take our business visits for our company back to grand coastal. We were extremely disappointed with this hotel.

Pay More and go elsewhere !!

I read a lot of bad reviews and still decided to book a room at this hotel trying to give them a chance. The room conditions were disgusting. You can tell the room attendance did not do a thorough cleaning. Showers were dirty, soap scum in the sinks. Leaking AC, mold stains on the walls. Stains on the sheets. Dead bugs not swept. Mirrors dirty. Mutilple roaches encounters. switched rooms and still the same situation.

Only OK!

We stayed for a week and it was only just OK. The rooms were very tired, broken shower but still useable, broken furniture, curtain falling off the rails, mattress worn, and deep cleaning needed. Our maid Guytree was very good though, pleasent and helpful. The breakfast was local food which was nice but need topping up more frequently and may be more selection of different items for international people. Ate in restaurant once and that was enough! Ordered for 2 and mine was served cold 20 minutes before the other plate came out. When the second plate came out it was awful, fish curry and rice, something Guyana should be getting right! I have stayed in other Ramada hotels but this one I'm afraid lets the company down, with Guyana on the up, Ramada need to step up their game and quickly! Would I stay again? Only if I see big improvement from reviews.

ABORT! STAY FAR AWAY! SAVE YOURSELF! FILTHY!

The dirtiest hotel I've ever been to in my life. Arrived to a toilet that smelled recently used, someone else's hair on the floor - completely unswept room and balcony, opened and empty shampoo packet atop the dispensers in the shower, empty boxes of complimentary toiletries and shower ridden with soap scum and chunks of black film bordering the floor tiles. After stashing a tissue beneath the bed's fitted sheets, we discovered the bed sheets were not being changed. The entire hotel appears unmaintained and dated. Majority of staff are unfriendly and incapable of delivering customer service. Complained four times and little to no steps were taken to remedy this atrocity.

Lovely hotel, the poolside staff were a bit weird, not friendly and staring at me a lot, but the bar staff were nice. They accommodated me when I had issues and overall it was a fun experience. Nice pool too!

I would rate them an overall of 2. It’s not maintained at all and the cleanliness of the rooms is not a priority. The ac was leaking so badly it soaked the green sofa, the wall was moldy, there were bugs and it eventually stopped working. This isn’t a place you go to feel like you’re on vacation. They come into the room daily to provide some clean towels. Our shower dispensers were empty, the sink closet to the shower was leaking. The floors looked so dirty…never mopped or swept. They spread the beds like a child. We requested them Not come in the rooms because we were underwhelmed and they insisted everyday just to leave us more disappointed. Our room was on the 5th floor and the last night they offered to change our room to the 3rd but that was just as unclean. Everything needs repair and housekeeping needs to be revamped. My family had fond memories of this place and were quite disappointed. I heard other guests express their displeasure with the amenities as well. The staff in the pool area and restaurant were quite pleasant. Having breakfast included was a bonus too. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend or stay here again. I would suggest a local smaller hotel that takes more pride in maintenance and housekeeping.

We were there for 2 nights. The front desk staff was inexperience. We were assigned to a room but it was the wrong room. We requested the manager who assigned us to another room We finally got to the the room, the bed was not made up; there was one small tiresome pillow on a king size bed for 2 people to sleep. Only one towel. They eventually brought 2 more tiresome pillows and towel. The room itself was disappointing, everything was weary, old and shabby. We showered and left and just came back to sleep. On the second night when we arrived back late to sleep, there were no sheets on the bed, no towels. We asked the front desk to address it and after waiting and insisting for sometime, the night housekeeping manager came and made up the bed and brought towels and water. This hotel management need to get their act together. Guests need to be aware on the accomodation.

Although the room was booked and there was a sign that read do not disturb on the front, the staff walked right into the room while in the bathroom. They also disabled the key when I was still booked for an extra night. Elevators are still not working correctly although I complained years ago about that. I feel like no one really cares about any of these issues there.

Let me start by saying I was disappointed, soon as I entered I heard ppl complaining about the price and the condition of the hotel , the place is deplorable needs maintenance, my ac wasn’t working and was leaking water for days I told the staff about it several times no one did anything, the room service is bad my wife kept asking for new towels and to clean the room they did nothing , no microwave, ice machine not working , fridge won’t even get cool , everything I had in their spoiled ! Iron won’t work , the telephone don’t work ! Found stuff in the draws from the previous guest because they didn’t clean the rooms properly before allow new guests to check in , I’m VERY dissatisfied with my stay there especially with the fees their asking , the pool was dirty and the restroom at the pool are even worst ….. the staffs are pleasant tho I must say that but the management is bad…. Took my child to FunCity and most of the rides and toys are dirty and don’t work !!! Overall I would not recommend this to anyone! I felt exploited by this hotel for the amount of money I spend it’s sad to say but this is my honest opinion !
