Had reserved a 1 night stay to visit family. During check-in, was informed that the elevator was out of service. Had booked an ADA compliant room to accommodate my wife and spent additional to have a room with a view. Those rooms only existed on the 3rd and 4th floor. Stairs weren't an option. There was nothing avaliable on main floor. They said they had something avaliable in the lower level. I said that would work if it had grab bars in the bathroom, if we could have a shower seat brought to the room, and would try to make the stairs work. There were no grab bars in the room and we did not get a discount on the different room. I went back to the front desk to compliant about no grab bars and no discount. Was told that it was mentioned that the room wouldn't have grab bars, and that theere was no cost difference for the room since it had a kitchenette. I let them know how dissatisfied we were and this was the worst stay we had experienced in the half dozen times we had stayed there. I felt that some type of compensation qas in order. Was told I would need to speak with the Manager the next morning. We needed to leave early and did not connect with him.
