The man who checked me in was excellent with a good heart and very accommodating.

Clean rooms, great water pressure in the shower.

2/10 Poor

In the morning after my stay I had four small bites clustered together on my neck. By the second day it was clear I had bed bug bites. Over the next two days the number of bytes exploded to 60 as I took the critters with me. I'm now looking at at least 120 days of isolating possessions to try to prevent this from continuing when I get home.

Well it was okay except the room kind of smells a little funny but the hot water is awesome and the water pressure

There are better hotels in this area

We booked a non-smoking room but the first room allocated to us had strong smoking odour. The manager acknowledged that most of their customers disregard the non-smoking signs. He had to open a few rooms to finally find one that didn't smell. Another thing about the location of the hotel and the clientele. It didn't seem like a safe place.

A bit dingy but friendly staff

I stay here because it is a budget motel. The staff is very friendly. The room smelled bad and the bed was very uncomfortable. For $77, I hoped it would be better than this. Upgrading to new mattresses and airing the rooms out would be a good start.

Absolutely unclean and dirty, never come back
Reinhard, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

noisy construction workers

A lot of construction workers were staying there, their work trucks and trailers took up all the parking spots on my side. Also they were up very early, stomping around upstairs. Not the greatest.

The plywood plug in the smash & grab hole next to our room door was a nice touch. TV, TV remote & fridge did not work. Red spots on a sheet on top of the bed. Front desk said "it's not blood, if it was blood it'd be brown by now". Ymmv

ac unit didn't work which made it hard to sleep. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the pillows were very thin. The amenities and the yeah, the room we're very outdated. And there was only lukewarm water.

michael, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Very sketchy area. There was a BBQ grill in a parking space. Rooms did not seem in very good condition. And it was very overpriced for the quality of the property.

Worst Place to Stay in Baker City

Absolutely Horrible Place to stay. Upon inspecting my room, I found dried blood on the mattresses under the sheets and blood stains on the pillow cases. We were in the room for maybe 10 minutes before my wife got bit by something. I couldn't sleep in such an absolutely disgusting place. I left 20 minutes after we checked in. I told the hotel staff and they were apologetic but said they do not issue refunds. Never again will I stay here. This was by far the worst place in Baker City to stay. The amenities that they show that are part of this hotel are not even a part of the hotel they're different amenities in the city that have nothing to do with this hotel.

Sleepless in Baker City

The check-in went well. The gentleman was friendly and helpful. The place looked a little run down but not terrible considering the price. Once I settled in after 10:00 I was gently lulled to sleep by the moaning sounds coming from the next room from the tweaker couple who decided after an hour's worth of shagging they had to rearrange their furniture for some reason at midnight. 3:00 in the morning the train rolls through town and blast its horn for 15 minutes. So any thought of getting continuous sleep is only a dream. Of course, that's not the fault of the hotel. When I woke up I realized I had donated a small amount of blood to the local bed bug population. But all in all the 3 hours of sleep I got were blissful at least from what I don't remember. Yes the room was clean. Yes the bathroom was clean. Yes, the bed was comfortable but considering the other challenges I would consider somewhere else next time.
Jeffrey, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Bathroom is in poor shape. Bedding was worn. Flooring looks like it was installed by a teenager. The area around the hotel is cluttered.
