Cindee has a beautiful home tastefully decorated with lovely antiques. Her breakfasts are delicious and her knowledge of the area is comprehensive. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Best B&B I’ve ever been to!! Highly recommend!
This place was in a fabulous location right near the trolley. The rooms were spacious and clean and breakfast was superb. Best part of the experience was the owner - she is SO knowledgeable on New Orleans and the area. She went out of her way to be helpful and research things you might want to see or do. It was like having your own tour guide!! She told us about a festival that we would have never discovered otherwise, and it ended up being our favorite night all vacation. The house is gorgeous and it’s fun walking around the place imagining what it was like for families living there years ago. If you want a true local experience in New Orleans, this is the place to stay. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a fantastic, week-long stay at the Southern Comfort Bed & Breakfast. Each morning we were greeted with a different home-cooked and delicious breakfast, the likes of which we’re sure wouldn’t be available in a larger hotel. Our hostess pulled out all the stops to allow us to taste the fabulous local cuisine. The centre of New Orleans, particularly the French District, is very accessible via the regularly running St Charles streetcars, just 3 minutes walk away. We highly recommend this accommodation, especially if you want to enjoy a more traditional experience in this ‘must go to’ city. A big thank you for a very personal and welcome stay!

Beautiful Historic B&B
Cindee is a wonderful host. She waited for me on the front porch upon my arrival & she made sure that my stay is a comfortable one! The feeling of staying in Cindee’s B&B is like visiting an old friend. I felt welcome and loved. The other guests are also very nice and having breakfast together is like a family reunion too lol! The gourmet breakfast was super delicious and I still need to get the recipe from her as I can’t get enough of the shrimps & grits! I also got lits of helpful tips on sightseeing and must try restaurants and little places! Thanks Cindee for your hospitality! I hope to stay in Southern Comfort B&B again in the future when I visit NOLA! It's nice to be in a beautiful neighborhood away from the crazy of the downtown area but yet so close!
