A relaxing getaway and great location!
This hotel is right on Playa Norte which was a beautiful beach with calm waters. Easy walk to the ferry terminal as well as a lot of wonderful restaurants. We came in late January and the vibe was very quiet. The one bedroom suite was spacious with a kitchenette and balcony. And the staff at this hotel was incredibly helpful and responsive to any need!

Fint hotell med bästa läge vid norra stränderna, samt precis vid den restaurangtätaste huvudgågatan på ön. Något dyrt om man jämför med de andra boendena vi hade under vår Mexikoresa, med tanke på att vi hade det enklaste rummet hos dom men det har väl med läget att göra vilket som sagt var topp!

Nous avons été très déçus! Rien à voir avec les chambres modernes montrées sur les photos. Les bâtiments sont délabrés et les blacons soutenus avec des filets. Nous avons du voir 3 chambres avant d’accepter la dernière qui était la plus « convenable ». Je ne recommande pas pour le prix et j’ai été très surprise par les avis positifs qui nous ont induits en erreur . Seul point positif la plage de l´ hôtel est belle avec du sable blanc

Most relaxing stay!
1. Great location, love the access to the beautiful beach, we saw one of the most glorious sunsets we have ever seen. Access to the restaurants and downtown, love the vibe, food and atmosphere. 2. Great swimming pool, especially the shallow one for little kid, our kid played there for hours. Between playing on beach and in pool he spent days and wouldn’t want to leave. 3. Big spacious rooms, comfy beds, nothing fancy yet so relaxing. 4. Last but not the least the staff. Everyone was so nice and stress free, starting with the manager Mauricio who greeted us with a huge smile and vibes of relaxation. After that everyone we interacted with, be it Guillermo or Pepe at front desk who always had a smile on their face, juileta and Gonzalez at the restaurant who customized dishes to our choices, Martha, Adrianna and Sandra who helped ensure smooth checkout and many others whose names I may not remember (I apologize) but every time you run into staff, you will never get a vibe of stress or frustration but rather a warm welcoming smile. And a lot of it is attributed to Mauricio who leads with great example! 5. Lastly we casually asked if we could do a late checkout, they unfortunately had another reservation for our room, but they took their hospitality to another level by providing us another room and letting us use it until however long we desired. We needed it only for couple extra hours but their willingness to let us have it until much later in day just speaks to their hospitalit

The location is off the chart! The most beautiful beach in the world (Playa Norte) is only steps away. Stunning views. Fabulous staff who cater to your every need. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shopping. The staff make you feel welcome. The kindness of the staff give you that extra reassurance that you are in a safe, reliable location. Our room was exceptionally clean. The front desk answered our calls every time we called with answers to our questions. Thank you Ixchel!!! In October 2024, we had the pleasure of staying at Ixchel Beach Hotel for three nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Our check-in process was seamless, greeted with refreshing drinks and warm smiles, which set a positive tone for our stay. Initially, we were a bit disappointed with our room's partial pool and ocean view from the second floor, as much of it was obstructed by the ceiling of a nearby building. However, as the days passed, we grew to appreciate our stay, and the view became less of a concern. The spacious balcony was a wonderful feature that we loved. Upon entering our one-bedroom suite, we were delighted to find it immaculate and equipped with nearly everything we needed. While the furniture was somewhat dated, it was in good condition and clearly chosen with care. The true king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the double sinks in the bathroom, which made getting ready easier. I did need to request an extra bed for our young child, as the suite only had the king bed, but the hotel promptly accommodated us. The safe was also a generous size, perfect for storing our valuables. Overall, the suite offered plenty of space for the three of us, making it a comfortable home base during our stay. The hotel’s location was fantastic, within walking distance of wonderful restaurants like Oceans on Ave Miguel Hidalgo, where we enjoyed excellent food and service—especially from Alejandro. We also discovered great shops and beach clubs

This is a really great place to stay in Isla Mujeres! They have beach fiod and drink aervices from the hotel bar and restaurant. We had breakfast seevice while sitting on the bach. It was amazing and the foid was really good. Great location - about 12 minuts walk from the Ferry. There us EVERYTHING in walking distance. The staff were very nice and professional

GREAT place to stay right on Playa Norte!! Sand felt amazing. Easy to get a chair/unbrella. Service was great! Only suggestion I have is to improve restaurant and drink offerings at the resort…but there were MANY amazing options just a few blocks away.

Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff and a beautiful beach. Only issue is the private restaurant/bar and palapa that is directly in front of the hotel and sits on half of the beachfront. This was confusing upon arrival. Misleading online photos lead you to believe all beachfront in front of hotel is available for hotel guests.
