Well, it's convenient to the author of you are catching a flight. The room was spacious. That's all i can say that is good about this place. Otherwise, it's noisy, smells funny, and isn't in the best shape as far as properties go.

the closesness to a less popular beach was great. Nice walk to the beach. Check in was nice. Room was awesome. Kind if had an odd vibe. But no complaints. Awesome hotel near beach.

We needed a cheap place to stay near the airport before flying out early in the morning. Punt Catorze was great for this, plenty of room, parking onsite (drive down to the car park before going to reception) and good facilities. The rooms are large and in good condition although not renovated for a long time. They are serious about their guest's privacy with big curtains in the carpark and reception area to block the view and that was a little bit strange, but no issues and the staff were friendly and helpful. The first room had a smell of cigarette smoke (you'll soon work out that smokers in Europe just don't care) but they quickly moved us to another room and it was fine. It is close to the motorway and so there was a bit of noise although traffic died down later in the evening.

This is a hotel that is obviously geared toward "hourly" clientele and it might be dealing in other shady business. It's very difficult to find, tiny sign, and when our taxi driver pulled into the rear entrance, the "hotel" staff pulled a curtain across to hide the taxi from anyone who might be behind. The taxi driver kept saying, "This is not a hotel!" The front desk has a low window so that "guests" and staff can't see each other's faces. The room was at least clean and the bed comfortable, and the bathroom fully stocked. The room however had mirrors on all walls and the only window was painted black so there was no way to see out or even for light to enter the room.

We book this property very late due to cancellation of flight and they had availability so we stayed here and from the time we were greeted by host they both working the front desk was very nice and helpful …the property had a station for hot coffee or tea and also fresh fruit that was a plus …room was very clean good hot working shower water also the place was very quiet.
