Absolutely incredible trip. The hotel was stunning. The grounds, the pool area, the decor, the rooms, all of it was absolutely spotless and beautifully done. The service was amazing, nothing was an issue and everyone was so lovely. Location wise it is around 10/15 minutes in a taxi into the city centre. You have the best of both worlds. The hotel feels like you are in the countryside with beautiful surroundings but yet so close to the city. We will definitely return.

We (me, my husband and our 15 year old son) had a wonderful stay at Villa Olmi in July. The place itself is really beautiful with little details. The gardens and pool area are very well maintained and clean. We had junior suite with own garden. The room was spacious and even the sofa bed for our son was very comfortable. Breakfast was versatile and delicious, especially the coffee was good; strong and hot. In the area, where Villa Olmi is located, there is really nothing. Luckily only short car ride to Florence central and hotel had shuttle bus service, which was convenient. Everyone at the hotel staff were really friendly and professional. One small thing only made me feel uncomfortable; at the check out there was added optional service charge to our bill. The receptionist clearly pointed that it was optional. This practice however seemed a bit strange. Anyway, we had absolutely great stay and would definitely come back to this beautiful hotel!

Charming hotel property in Firenze. Recommended to us by friends that had stayed at the property before, we were equally pleased by our visit. The hotel provided a nice respite from the crowds of city center. We dined in the restaurant one evening and the food was superb and the staff was very attentive without being overbearing. Amazing villa outside of the downtown core of Florence. My partner and I came to Italy to elope in the hills of Tuscany, and staying at the Villa Olmi was beyond perfect. The rooms were stunning, the staff were wonderful, and the quieter location was exactly what we needed after a busy trip across Europe. We will always have fond memories of the Villa Olmi and will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Florence!

Stunning hotel in beautiful location

Villa Olmi is a beautiful hotel arouund 4km from the centre of Florence, easily reached by Taxi around £30 euros or the number 23 bus a short walk away. There is plenty of parking onsite also. The Villa itself is complimented with beautiful gardens. We used the gym and the outdoor pool which in late April was peaceful innits location. We had a standard room which was spacious and beautifully decorated, and has tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant serves dinner and lunch, we are lunch twice on our stay and was delicious. Breakfast is plentiful and has a selection of hot and cold items including pastruss, fruit, cereals, hams & cheeses. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful which makes the stay just perfect. If you are lookig for a bit of luxury without being in the centr le this is your place. We will definitely stay here again if in Florence. Unfortunately hotels.com are not allowing to add any images !
