Extraordinarily disappointed with this hotel. I normally stay in hostels/low budget hotels... and I would rather stay at hostel than the Wyndham Grand Kayseri. My stay at the Wyndham was supposed to be a splurge-- but of the 14 hotels I have stayed at in Turkey, this one is dead last. It took me 45 minutes for me to check-in because the Front Desk gave away my room. I had reserved a room with a king size bed, but they gave me a handcap room with two twin beds. Since it was a handicap room, I couldn't even stand up and take a shower (handsfree) and there was 1 inch of standing water in the entire bathroom. The meager shower curtain/rod broke as I tried to use it. The phone in the room didnt work so I had to hike down to the reception twice for the wifi password. The wifi in the room didnt work (even after my two visits to the reception). My "incredible" view faced a back-alley way, while my other friends had views of the castle. My reservation said "breakfast was available;" but no one told me I would get charged 60 TL for the 2 pieces of bread I consumed. I WAS HORRIFIED WITH THIS HOTEL. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Very nice large hotel.staff will do anything for you. We feel the hotel needs updating. Wifi did not work.when question the reception.they said to try this and that. If it did not work we will send bell boy.at 11.00 i dont think so. This day and age it should work like the other hotels i stayed in.

Nice hotel in a good location. Unfortunately, our car was a bit scratched up during valet parking. I didn't realize it until we were hundreds of miles away...

All was well, I had one problem during check-in, where they indicated that above 12 years of age is considered as adult in their policy, whereas in hotels.com below 18 is considered as child. We didnot have to pay extra at the end, but still the issue coming up was a bit disturbing.

My reservation was for a room w breakfast, and in my Expedia confirmation email it explicitly said that it included “free breakfast.” However, the hotel staff did not honor this, and said it is an Expedia problem and that they can only provide breakfast for a substantial extra charge. I was confused and very disappointed... please don’t offer things you cannot provide!
