Everything is just beautiful! The reception with open glass doors and the view of the resort and sea is stunning. The walk to through palm trees to the suits/villas is the most pleasant walk. The variety of restaurants and the quality is exceptional which each of them having a point of difference.

They went all out to make our stay as agreeable as possible. Kudos to Samuel and his team. Excellent food and the early check-in was especially appreciated. A property and service worthy of the name.

Constance Belle Mare has always been renowned on the island for excellent. Property and views are great. On the negative side, most of the reception staff are not warm and not welcoming. I had a number of issues (a) they were unable to locate the second room i booked and kept asking me to double check (at least 3 times) if I had booked 2 rooms - stressful check in (b) in advance of check in, I had emailed and informed the Constance Head office team with full details of who has walking disability etc and needed ground floor rooms and also requested our 2 rooms to be booked close by. None of these matters were taken and even mentioned. They mixed up the names. (C) I wasn’t given an account of how the 2 Expedia vouchers were applied on check out. On check out, I had explicitly asked the receptionist to confirm if I can use £15 per room, so £30 for 2 rooms. We had only used Rs190 for 2 bottles of water. Yet, we had a bill of almost £24. Reception team was uncooperative to resolve how I can apply the 2 £15 vouchers to ensure it’s fully utilised. On plus side, housekeeping lady Reshma was very nice and helpful. Please can Expedia look into how the Voucher which I believe has been applied against only Rs190 for 2 water bottles. I request a refund to my Expedia account for not being able to use the vouchers as an Expedia Gold member. Thank you for looking into the above Deeya

Short, efficient check in. Newly renovated suite, first guests after renovation. Unfortunately very dirty room with a lot of dust from renovation. As we arrived very late and the hotel was fully booked, we had to stay there. It was cleaned the next day. Also problems with Aircon, which were resolved by a tecnician before we went to sleep. Very hard mattress. Pillows had a strange smell, and were changed the next day. Restaurant "la Citronelle" has quite good food but the charm of a canteen. For breakfast you can go to the "Deer hunter" if you don't mind to have only continental breakfast. Very calm and nice with view on the golf course. Other restaurants much nicer and very friendly, but should be booked in advance as the availability is reduced. We had 2 very good dinners in the "Blue Penny Cellar" with really adorable staff. And the Lobster Dinner in the "La case" was also very good. The "la spiaggia" was not available As the hotel was fully booked there were also problems with the beach towels. Several times we had to wait up to 20-30 minutes to get one. But after the starting problems we had quite a nice stay. Over all a nice hotel but more a 4 than a 5 star standard.

Great location, perfect beach, very very nice staff, and excellent variety of food. The only minus is that during our stay, they were renovating rooms next to us and above us so it was a bit noisy during the day. However, management have apologized, and they reduced our final bill as a nice gesture. Definietly I would reccomend and I would come back.

We had a short (5 day) stay and wish it were longer. Lovely hotel, pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. We were half board but I would advise full board in order to make the most of the facilities and culinary choices available. Could have done with some better prepared information on our arrival as we had little idea of facilities and what half board did and did not include but that’s a small gripe for an overall wonderful stay. Very spacious room, not up to the minute in terms of design but nothing to complain about - bed not the most comfortable in our room. Cooling breeze wonderful pools and excellent cleanliness all round. Highly recommend.

The property is well located but there is lack of activities for a hotel of this standard. Room service does not entertain your request immediately. The buffet was good and overall staff was jovial.
