The check-in was quick and the rep was friendly, but the room was lackluster and dated. It's in desperate need of renovations. My door wouldn't shut properly without a lot of effort. Appears it might have been kicked in at some point?? The carpet was so old and had numerous stains. My room was above the front entrance and every time someone came through the front door, I heard it bang closed. The street noise was obnoxious too, so make sure you get a room on the back side. I booked this room last-minute due to its proximity to Midway airport. If you're needing a "sleep-cheap" near Midway, then it's ok, but don't plan on getting a lot of sleep. I'm sure it's rare, but a firetruck under your window isn't a fun alarm clock. Oh well, i made it to the airport in time and avoided Chicago's rush hour traffic, so not a total loss, i guess.
