盆地海港飯店

The gardens were beautiful. They tried to give us a step down room in very poor condition. The room we paid for they gave away and they could only get us in a semi decent room for half our stay. We had to rework our vacation and find places to stay. Without support from Orbitz they wouldn't have given us a refund. Even then they tried to give us 300.00 less. With Orbitz support it all worked out. I was so grateful we booked through Orbitz. We wouldn't go back. The pictures and amenities on the website are really misleading.

Great Family get away

The cottage we had was dated but still perfect. View of the water, walking distance to pool. Dog friendly and very kid friendly. I recommend bringing your bikes.

First time staying at the property and didn't know what to expect and after driving to what seemed like the middle of no where I was very pleasantly surprised. Cabin doesn't look like much from the outside but once you walk in it was spacious, clean, quaint, breathtaking views. I don't know if I would make this a destination vs needed to be in the area but I will consider. Very 👍

What a beautiful resort! My husband and I were passing through town and got a last minute room at Basin Harbor. When we checked in it was dark so we couldn’t see the grounds and went straight to bed. In the morning we awoke to quite a pleasant surprise. What a lovely place to stay! We walked the property and saw a full yoga class on the boat dock. This place is breathtaking and there’s so much to do here - biking, kayaking, SUP, golf... I would love to come back and spend some quality time at this beautiful resort.

Lovely property. Secluded and peaceful. Gardens are beautiful. Cabins look simple. Rooms in main lodge are very clean and new bathrooms. Feels like summer camp with water activities, tennis and golf. You are off the grip. Only cell service is their free wifi.

Beautiful spot - be precise with room selection

This place is a little gem. A beautiful idyllic place with exceptional views of Lake Champlain and the sights of the kids swimming and diving into the lake is are memories to treasure; great water sports for all; good food; super service. The only slight negative is that the accommodation is mixed and can be a bit cramped. They claimed not to have been provided the full information by hotels.com/Expedia so we were put 4 in a room which was really only fit for 2/3 max. The hotel was basically full. Nonetheless, they did their best and moved us from room to room. We ended up in 3 different rooms in our 3 night stay and whilst this was far from ideal, they were helpful in assisting us move and accommodating our needs as best they could. We liked the Summit building best. Woodlea was also okay. Northway was really too small for us. BUT we really enjoyed our stay despite the hassles with the room.
