This hotel is conveniently located, right next to the core shopping area of Frankfurt. It is also easily accessible from the airport. S7 and S8 trains go directly from the airport to the hotel in 15 minutes. However, the facilities of this place are really below the standard of aso-called three-star hotel. I was very disappointed after checking in. In fact, I was surprised to find that the only way to access the hotel is by a small elevator from the street level. I thought: "This is a three-star hotel?" That should not be a problem if the room quality and other facilities are consistent with a three-star hotel. But it is not. The room is covered by dirty carpets and the shabby furniturs in the room are also covered with dust. It feels like a one-star establishment. However, hotel staff are nice and helpful. The breakfast is also of good quality. There is a wide-range of selections of cold meat, cheese, and so on.
Although I was disappointed by the poor facilities, in the end I got used to it and began to see the advantages of its location. It is truly superbly located. However, for people who are expecting true three-star facilities, this is not the place. We later moved to another three-star hotel in Bonn and what a difference. That one is what a three-star hotel should be. This one should be rated as a one-star establishment.
