When we arrived, the host was so helpful in getting us checked in and getting us settled. We were unaware that the house is a historical landmark, but she was able to tell us all about this magnificent home that we would be staying in.
Breakfast was handmade each morning by the same host. She asked us what time would be most convenient to have it, which was a nice touch and very sweet. We had the opportunity to sit and eat on the porch or indoors in the dining room for our meals.
The beds had luxurious pillows and many blankets. I prefer a heavier comforter, which was exactly what we got. If you are not a fan of that, there were other bedding options in the closet in our room.
The bathroom had a shower/jacuzzi bathtub combo along with a separate room for the toilet.
Our room also had a personal balcony, which had a beautiful view of the yacht club and boats.
The minifridge in our room was stocked with waters when we arrived, and we kept some fruit in there as well for late-night snacking.
Overall, this B&B was phenomenal. The rooms and food would have earned it 5/5 stars already, but along with the warmth, attention, and care of the host it soars to 5/5 stars. We will definitely be staying here again for our family's annual trip to Daytona Beach.
