We stayed for 2 nights for my husband's 40th birthday. I still have no idea where the hotel's bar or restaurant it. The restaurant wasn't available online or on maps, nor did the room have any menus or information about the bar or restaurant. I'm not sure if the balcony landmark view that I paid extra for was the old power plant or the quality inn hotel rooftop outside of our window. You could barely see the river. In hindsight, city view would have been better. You do not want your room toward the Bay St (front) side. You may have to call the police in the middle of the night on the fighting couple outside of the Quality Inn. My husband had to on his birthday night. The bed was comfortable, but the top coverlet was so scratchy that we ended up throwing it off. There was absolutely no information in the room about where to find hotel ammenitites. Having only valet parking is not terrible. But at $45 a night, you can park beside the hotel in a private owned pay-to-park lot. But beware, the prices fluctuate on downtown parking. It cost us $35 for almost 24 hours the first night. But the second night it was going to be $55 and only available until 3am. I wasn't going to go pay more money at 3am. So we valet parked the second night of the stay. In comparison to other similar priced hotels, we were not offered any vouchers or a glass of champagne. Hilton Garden Inns are supposed to feature top-notch dining options. I just don't know how I feel about this stay all together.
