After our last day, we were hoping the hotel would be in better condition, but it’s not it seems to be getting worse. The floors are disgustingly dirty. The elevator was dirty. The staff doesn’t even talk to you or look at you. We were hoping for coffee in the morning before six and the front desk person basically told us that’s not happening. We will not be staying there again.

STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Upon arrival, the lobby seemed clean and had a strong smell of fragrance. Immediately I thought, what stench are they trying to cover up. The guy at the front desk was extremely friendly and that was the only positive thing about our experience. When we first entered our room we were smacked in the face with a horrible smell of mold. To me it smelled like urine but to my husband it smelled like mold. It didn’t take long to start spotting the mold. It was all over the bathroom. On the ceiling, in the shower, on the walls and I’m sure there was hidden mold that was hiding underneath the floors or in other places. The smell was so strong we could barely stand it. Upon further inspection we noticed there was what appeared to be urine on the walls and front door, which explained why I was smelling urine. We would have left but we arrived at midnight and only needed an overnight stay as we were on our way to Corpus Christi. We were in the hotel room for about 10 hours and it was enough to make us physically ill from breathing in mold. It really put a damper on our beach vacation. I wish we would have never stayed there. This place should be condemned! DO NOT STAY HERE! There are FAR better places to stay at in Kerrville.

Online pics did not represent the room we got. It was dark and dingy looking with stained sheets on one bed and dirty floor in bathroom.

Sub-par for the La Quinta chain

The staff is very kind and helpful. Unfortunately the rooms aren’t very clean. The details have been let go, and the fixtures are deteriorated. The linens didn’t seem very clean on the beds. One bed had visible yellow stains on the sheets, but at least I was able to switch beds.

The staff at the hotel were great! However the conditions of the rooms were terrible. I had to change rooms twice at check in. The first room was very humid and smelled like sitting water. The second room had mold all over the curtains. The third room was better but the curtains were shredded and the doors weren’t clean

Relaxing

First time to the area. Hotel was affordable and in a good location. Staff were friendly, breakfast was what you would expect from LaQuinta. Overall relaxing and a good stay.

Not pleased

I pre paid for 7 nights and was given a room right by the elevator. It was very noises late and early each day. The breakfadt had problems such as pladtic in the powdered eggs, cream cheese that tasted bad, the OJ dispenser had thick sediment and a bitter test. The water also tasted bad. I chose thisnplace for the alleged workout room which I was informed later was closed for several months because of constru3. I will likely stay elsewhere next time since there are 5 or 6 other places in the area.
