Property and staff were great. Happened to be there during a large baseball tournament weekend so the property was full of kids and ball players.

4th of July Stay

Fourth of July activities were fun and the reason we booked the room. Service while friendly was slow particularly in the F&B areas. Noticed on the morning of checkout that my room did not have a working smoke detector

When the fire alarm went off, we barely heard it. It would be a good idea to turn the volume up. I can’t imagine the lawsuit if someone died in a fire because the alarm was not audible in every room. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Checkin started off with a bump, they gave me a king room when I booked a 2 queen. There were 3 of us and there’s no way that was going to work. The manager initially said they were sold out and there was nothing he could do but after being on the phone for half an hour with Expedia the manager came over to me and said he had searched high and low and found one last room he would put us in. I let Expedia know and they still credited me $100 for my troubles. The hotel was nice clean well kept and the staff is extra friendly. The manager repeatedly apologized to me for the mix up and he genuinely wanted to make sure we were satisfied. We had a wonderful time there and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Birmingham area.
