This was a very sweet place with lots of charm. Our room was small but very comfortable, especially the bed and charming. We did not mind that our private bath was just down the hall. Breakfast was very good and the staff is extremely friendly. This place had several people staying there, but I did not feel their presence at all. I highly recommend.

Buyer beware!

Wildflower room. The private bath was advertised as a tub with shower. The valve was malfunctioning and almost no water would flow through the shower head. My husband, with thin hair, could hardly get the soap out of his hair so I didn’t dare wash my longer/thicker hair. We were supposed to be there for 3 nights but had to leave due to the lack of water. This ended up costing us a significant amount more due to the last minute need for accommodations. We were informed, from 2 different employees, that they were already aware of this issue, but allowed us to book the room without divulging the problem we would encounter. The gal working the kitchen took my cell number and talked to Belinda (owner), and assured us that Belinda would contact us that same day. We were only half way through our road trip so I made sure they knew they had to call my cell. We never heard from Belinda, and still have not seen a credit due for the remaining days. I had no problem paying for the one night stay but expected to be credited for the remaining amount that was not used. We arrived home today to find a voicemail on our home phone stating that we will be charged if we do not cancel the remaining days so they can rebook the room. This room was falsely advertised and has a severe water issue which should NOT be booked again until the valve is repaired. They did not call our cell and the message was not received until we arrived home. Therefore, we did not cancel with Hotels.com. Poor ownership!

What a lovely property this place is! We stayed in one of the casitas with our dog and it was so beautiful and perfect. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We also had a great time sitting around the patio and talking with the other guests while enjoying our coffee/tea. There is a James Beard awarded New Mexican restaurant just 5' away for dinner too. Made for a perfect overnight getaway.

We absolutely LOVED Casa Escondida B&B. Rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. Surroundings felt tranquil, safe very New Mexico. They have everything you need and more. Staff is beyond friendly and helpful. We even had breakfast to go because we had an early departure. Everything was set up for us to eat and go with extra tea in hand. We will definitely be going back.

Weekend getaway

Nice stay. Room for 3 adults a bit small snd trundle bed would be better for younger children. Terrific breakfast and peaceful area.

My family and I took a road trip through New Mexico for the holidays and while on our way back to Colorado we decided to stay at the Casa Escondida B&B. Although we reached the property after nightfall, we were greeted by an envelope containing all of the necessary codes and instructions to make out night enjoyable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and we enjoyed the company and conversation of other guests. Price was perfect for a family of four (KIVA room). Recommend to anyone looking for a great place to relax while on the road or if this is your single destination.
