It is a secure comfortable spot in down town LA. I really enjoyed the decor and peace. There are several great eating and drinking venues right next to the hotel that you can also check out. Overall, will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing property, really love the condition and quality. Located really close to skid row so lots of strange and creepy people around everywhere, but once you’re in the hotel everything is great.

I had a surprisingly nice stay here. I was greeted by the owner of the property for check in. The check in was pleasant. The room was clean and the bathroom had enough supplies for my short stay. I would stay here again.

I like that the property was safe with the doors being locked and you open them with a pin pad.

This place was super cool, very LA vibes, and unique. Good food spots close by, coffee shops, overall great location. The rooms themselves were also great. Comfortable and clean, and loved the shower. Staff was also helpful and nice with food recommendations and suggestions for things to do in the area. I’d make this my go to spot when I’m LA.

A different kind of a hotel.. Industrial- Goth-Glam safe but funky and it was amazing., it’s my new go-to spot for my twice yearly trips to Los Angeles,. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I was pleasantly surprised bc I booked this place even though it has some bad reviews but I see that they’ve actually addressed the issues and have stepped up their game. The owner is very nice and he helped me find parking and responded to all my questions. The hotel itself was very clean and I’ll definitely be back :)

No staff on property…u are on your own as the area can be sketchy at night. Clean room. Internet sucks if you’re there for business like me…worth it if u don’t mind location , internet and lack of staff.

Dtla hotel
it was a 7 out of 10. The blankets seemed like they were not washed. It smelled like cigarettes in the bathroom. The room was extremely hot and we arrived at 10pm. I paid for a bigger room and it seemed like a regular size. Love how close it was to Grand Central market. The pictures make the room better than what it is.

We stayed here when it was Tuck Hotel and you can tell it was managed better. Our AC was leaking and we were told to not set it below 74. It’s too hot for us! The bar/lobby has random boxes. The towels looked like towels for kids and I don’t think the soap and lotion were L’occitane.

Check-in received a text, nonissues or concerns. Left & sent a text to say gone. Again no issues or concerns. Hallways & elevator is very dark. Room is nothing special, but didn’t need anything fancy as we were there to spend time with daughter, not hang out in hotel. Never saw another person, except a couple times when “worker” sitting in lobby/bar area.

cute, boutique vibe hotel
This little gem is perfect for a downtown LA stay. There are several parking lots near by. Overnight parking is down the street to the left. I lucked out with a spot right in front (Sunday), no fee and overnight worked out. Great parking garage lot about .5 miles down spring for great price overnight (520 s spring street, no in and out). Depending on your neighbors you might hear some noise from above or next door, but doable. Definite noise from outside as you are close to DT and concert venues. Nothing that will keep you from sleeping, but definitely not sound proof. Stick to Spring street and Broadway if you are walking late night. There are a lot of homeless and druggies walking/living around the neighboring streets.

6/10 Good

Overall, the stay was good (2 nights). The hotel is on a cute street, with lots to do all around. Our show was a block over so that really helped! However, for the price we paid I expected the room to be in better shape. The wallpaper was starting to show wear along the walls, the bathroom doorknob was loose, the door mirror was broken in a corner, the mini fridge’s handles kept falling off, and the A/C, per Audemar, could not be lowered more than 72. This is an issue because at 72 the room is WARM. How is a room warm at 72? We couldn’t even open the windows because there were two signs noting they were both broken. Oh, and whatever happened to complimentary coffee/water? It’s all self-serve it seems. Otherwise, our stay went well because of everything in proximity to the hotel.

The best boutique hotel in DTLA!
Our stay at the Audemar was great! We decided to get away for a night & stay in DTLA. The price was amazing & the customer service was exceptional. Upon arrival, we met Austin (owner). He immediately helped us with where we should park as well as checked us in. Before entering the lobby, there is a gate & a door that are both locked at all times. Austin provided us with the door codes & the Air BnB type style lock system to our room. This boutique hotel was updated with a modern/vintage type style. Our room was black with a beautiful wood wall. There was a small vintage type mini fridge in the room along with fluffy pillows & white bedding. There are cute pictures, lights & art pieces throughout the room/building & every staff member we met was very nice & happy to welcome us. It’s within walking distance (or very short Uber ride) of a lot of restaurants, bars & clubs which makes for an easy night out. Thank you, Austin for making our experience so amazing! Your friendly personality & outstanding customer service doesn’t go unnoticed. Give the Audemar a chance! Austin has been putting in A LOT of time & hard work to make this space an amazing place to stay. -Leticia & Carlos
