I booked the Jupiter hotel n cause of the property including the Doug Fir bar. When I arrived I found both closed. It had been turned into a COVID facility. I was sent to their sister property. Expedia mentioned neither. Bait amd switch. I’d like a refund.

I liked the friendliness of the staff and the hotel design and ambience. I did not like that the bed was smaller than a queen, the sheets were rough. There were crowds of people right outside the hotel or in the lobby celebrating very loudly from about 11:30 pm until 2 am. At that time it appeared that they came up and occupied the room directly above us, jumping, thumping and dancing(?) until after 3 am. We never got much sleep. We heard later there had been a wedding.

Got placed into a room next to the elevators and it was a little noisy and there was a noisy guest down the hall but it was fine since I wasn’t in my room much during my trip. Had I done so, I probably would have gotten my room changed.

The rooms are spacious. Jupiter Next is walking distance to many cool restaurants, bars, and shops. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable on the area- they gave me good recommendations for breakfast. There are snacks available for purchase in the room and at the front desk. Lots of dogs in and out which I love. Parking is on street which can be stressful but I got lucky most of the time finding a spot. It can be hard to find somewhere close to pull up to bring in your luggage- pack light if you can (though they do have carts available and I rolled one down the street to get my stuff). Overall a great stay.

Unfriendly staff, it seemed like they were being "put out" to help me. I was unable to sleep due to the loudness of the music and people outside. Beds extremely uncomfortable. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. I had been looking forward to this stay and had heard good things about the area but next time will search for another location.
