Won’t ever stay here again!

My family and I stayed for 10 days. The hot tub was broken 7 of the 10 nights( cold water and dirty they finally called a professional to fix and clean it) The pool is not heated it was cold even in the sun and not clean . The parking lot is horrible, had to park most nights across the street at another business. ****They charged me over $1100+ for incidentals then on the 7th day they charged me another $500 + for incidentals ( yes it will fall off) but not one mention when booking room they would charge me over $1600 for incidentals and it’s not a glamorous hotel to be charging that much when it’s:: ( falling apart /older tv/ stained couch/ uncomfortable beds/ 1 pillow per person/ dirty pool /broken hot tub etc) so if you stay here be ready to have enough available credit for bill and incidentals before food/ shopping/activities. Breakfast was decent , view was nice ( parking lot) but the ocean is after parking lot . Great beach access( part of outside shower broken). Free coffee (24 hours). Don’t stay here! For the $$ spent and $$ they held I would have stayed at a better hotel ! Disappointed since it’s Hyatt you would think it would just be better but it’s not……

Do not recommend!

I would not recommend this hotel. It was advertised to have a restaurant on the premises, it did not. The housekeeping was on hold, we had to get our own towels, make the bed, take out the trash, get supplies for the room etc: Not sure, but that is part of the vacation and part of the cost. Every morning, the tables were all dirty in the breakfast area. We did complain and it was somewhat better. Makes one wonder with all the germs going around how this was a good idea. Not a cheap week. Actually, we left early. It wasn't worth the hassle..

Hotel needs to be upgraded. A lot of repairs needed. Waited hours for requested hairdryer to be brought to room, no chairs on our balcony had to wait till next day to get them, sink in bathroom did not drain. Maintenance came but still did not work after they left. Too expensive for the condition of the hotel. Would be fantastic place to stay if repairs were done. Staff was very pleasant.

Nice - But a bit off

The ocean view room was as expected for it's peer group. The guaranteed check in was great. It was obvious from our arrival that there was not adequate on-site parking. The 'overflow' lot was behind businesses across a 5 lane busy roadway without a crosswalk in sight. The cursory review of the bathroom the previous night had not revealed any issues. Before heading out for an early beach walk, I noticed that there was no shampoo provided. Returning through the lobby I asked if there was some available. The desk clerk looked in a storage closet and found none available. They promised a delivery to the room which never arrived. After waiting a while, headed into the shower and found used soap in the tray. Afterwards we discovered no drinking glasses in the bathroom and used a coffee cup from that service. The breakfast bar provided a nice selection with only some minor restocking issues.

Ridiculous.

I didn’t get to stay because the room I booked wasn’t available and they were sold out. At first they said their credit card machine was down they’d put me in a room and I could deal with the billing in the morning. Then the manager came around the corner and told me that didn’t have a room. Felt like they didn’t want to book me a room because I didn’t book my room until 11:30pm. Felt like both of them were lying to me. But I have no way to prove it. So I spent 30mins finding another hotel. All I wanted to do was sleep.

The property and layout of hotel is very nice and open with an amazing view of the ocean. The problem was our room, it had a horrible pet urine smell. I did notify the front desk when we checked out.

One night we came back late 10:30 pm and there was no parking. I went to the desk to ask what we should do and the woman behind the desk came out and moved her personal vehicle and let me park in her spot. I tanked her. A little kindness goes a long way. 😀
