As a frequent traveler to Mexico, I would not recommend this property. I've stayed at other Karisma resorts - this is not on par with the others. Food, drinks, cleaning of rooms, condition of the swim up pool, and basically everything else was disappointing.

Staff is excellent. Food average. Watered down liquor

all the rooms have a flow of water but it is never in the sun therefore it is always cold. The food is absolutely amazing.

Everything exceeded expectations. Great facility.

El Dorado had a wide range of activities and relaxation areas to fit any individuals vacation needs. We loved the infinity pool bar, the staff there was truly fun, entertaining and their service was outstanding. The beach bar on rhe sensimar side also had outstanding service. Relaxing on the Bali beds by the beach was great, beverage service and the occasional snack and cool cloth was offered. There were many spots to find a hammock for shade and rest. The golf cart shuttle was fantastic, taking us anywhere we wanted to go on the resort. There was a wide variety of evening entertainment from live reggae music on the sensimar beach, circus and fire shows, live performers in the sensimar courtyard, and a dj and live music in the 4th floor bar on the infinity side. The swim out rooms were fun and convenient for hanging out with friends. The room and deck area were wonderful for chilling out and sleeping between activities. The buffet at the seaside market had a wide variety of food options, breakfast was especially good. Room service was convenient. The Mexican restaurant had fantastic food and service. Lomas travel service helped us book an excursion, which was very convenient. There was transportation to and from the excursion from the resort.

Everything was great but the concierge service was not on point, was not able to answer our question or even propose us what the hotel had to offer. We doing everything on our self, and still had a great time thanks to other staff members

Pool outside the room was great. All the staff made the trip more enjoyable.

Very disappointed, terrible communication about dining reservations, pool policies, room categories, transportation on the property. Pool closed at 7 PM. And one morning due to cleaning was closed until 10 AM. Little to no ocean access.
