Hotels.com & La Quinta Inn Brownsville SUCK!!!
My reservation was cancelled w/o notice from the manager or the hotel, but yet Hotels.com went ahead and “TOOK” my money to pay for a hotel I “NEVER” got to stay in!!! Then the desk clerk gave me directions to a raunchy ass hotel that was down the street which the owner also owns and it was “NASTY AF”!!! I was having a medical surgical procedure done the very next day in Brownsville, TX and the room smelled or chlorine, had no WiFi available (even though the password was on the clerks computer screen…it didn’t work)…the tv didn’t work, no phone inside the room to call the front desk and the air conditioning sucked!!! I was happy to leave the hotel early that morning to get to the hospital so I could come back home to Edinburg, TX after my procedure. I text with a representative from Hotels.com that Tuesday, May 20th, 2025 about what happened and they reached out to the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brownsville North to see about getting me a refund back. They got back to me the very next day and said that they could not issue me a refund back…so I had to reach out to PayPal.com to let them know that I was charged fraudulently for services not received…they are working on my case. I will never stay in Brownsville ever again & I will never use Hotels.com ever again to make any kind of reservations!!
