I was greeted by a robot-like person at check-in. When asked where the breakfast was going to be, she just answered curtly, “Outside.” When pressed where outside, she answered, “Not ‘outside’ outside. In a room.” No further explanation of the whereabout of the breakfast room. I didn’t press further, thinking I’ll try with a new employee tomorrow morning.
The room smelled of stale odor that lingered. I had to go out to buy a room deodorant spray, but it could only mask the malodorous air for just awhile. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, and the rug looked dirty and worn to bare-thread at a spot. When I unfolded the bath mat, there was a tiny spider on it. The bathroom sink has no stopper, and the refrigerator door has no barriers, so I can put not even a can of soda on it. The positives about the room were the bed was firm and comfortable and the microwave oven workable.
