The reason for our stay at the Radisson was so we could use the pool for our son's birthday. Check in took longer than usual. When we got to the room my son used the washroom, the toilet started pouring water out of the tank on top of the toilet. We had to bring our stuff back downstairs to change rooms. As this was the only style of this room available (2 queen beds in the main area and a bedroom with another queen bed), we had to downgrade to a room with one king bed and one queen in a bedroom. We were not given any type of discount for having to downgrade.
Next we headed to the pool, my son really enjoyed the waterslide. When I got in the hot tub, my legs instantly got itchy. We were informed by another person staying in the hotel that the pool/hot tub was closed most of their stay due to chemical imbalances. He also mentioned there was no hot water in the hotel. We assumed these issues were all fixed as we had not been informed of them upon check in. When we got back to the room, I wanted to give the kids a bath. There was no hot water, it was slightly warmer than lukewarm at best. I was mad that we were not informed of the water issues when we got there.
The next morning my husband brought my son swimming again. When they were still in the pool, maintenance came in to shut down the hot tub once again due to a "chemical imbalance". My son later that day developed a rash all over his body because of it. He still has the rash the next day!
