Horrible experience, horrible management.
We arrived late the first night with for young children, and were more concerned about getting them to sleep.
The next day the kids were playing in the room and noticed a disgusting bug infestation. Well they did switch one of our rooms all the children staying in both rooms were so creeped out leading to an awful second night of sleep. Main reason for booking this hotel was for the indoor pool so the kids could have some fun indoor activity. They had to share the pool with other bugs swimming around in the pool and light fixtures infested with bugs.
We tried to talk to management and we tried to have this resolved after the first night through Hotels.com which is how we booked our stay. Management is unavailable on the weekends according to the front desk lady so high had to leave a message and reach them on Monday. hotels.com tried for a half hour to get a human on the phone without any success. We stayed the second night of our tonight booking because we were concerned, and rightfully so, that we wouldn’t get a refund for that second night. If a manager would have been reached they could’ve explained that yes they will allow us to cancel the booking for the second night and we would not have had to pay them a penny more for this miserable stay.
This all could’ve been resolved on happier terms terms had there been a manager available to talk to you whether on site or not,but we were told to leave a message
