I was very disappointed with the condition of my room during my recent stay. The cleanliness was far below expectations—from the floors to the curtains, everything felt unkempt. The room had a strong smell of mildew, and the nightstand was filthy, with some kind of white residue running down the side. This experience was extremely unpleasant and not reflective of the standards I expected from Comfort Inn & Suites

Violates Federal Laws on Service Animals

I went to the front desk with my 3 night stay paid in advance and as the clerk was making the key I informed her that I had a service dog. She then proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t put me in that room that I had reserved and she had to put me in a pet friendly area. I explained how the pet friendly area is a big distraction for a trained service dog. The manager and clerk refused to accommodate. The room wreaked of urine! I ended my stay after one night and moved to a non pet friendly place.

Go to the Hilton

The room itself was dim and damp and, like a cave, provided refuge from the weather but only to travelers willing to deal with a constant sense of moisture in the air and on the floor. Likewise the lodgings were long since past their prime and the budget for upkeep was showing its weakness.

The room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a good while with visible crumbs and other debris on the floor. The toilet obviously hadn’t been cleaned and there was old takeout food left in the refrigerator. The beds seemed clean and they were comfortable.

The desk clerk insisted that we had to take a double queen suite although we had requested king suite. They are the same price but he says that Expedia had paid for a double queen and it could not be changed.
