This hotel is very central and the room was as you'd expect for a hotel at this level.A good bath, plenty of hot water and the beds a little firm but acceptable. The staff were helpful. BUT. A BIG problem for us was that the advertised restaurant was only open 4 nights a week-closed at the weekend(!!!)Friday,Sat.,and Sunday. We stayed for 2 nights-yes,Friday and Saturday! The hotel was very busy with plenty of guests so I cannot understand why potential income would be thrown away. We are in our 70's and a restaurant is VERY important as my wife likes to dress up and wear her jewellery. We do NOT want to walk about anywhere at night outside the hotel! We frequently take city breaks and ALWAYS book only hotels with restaurants (bar food is ok but as a meal not an experience). We booked through Hotels.com,a we always do,so we took all our info from their listing. This hotel boasted their Chino Latino restaurant (sounded lovely!)but nowhere in the listing did it say there were restricted opening times. The hotel emailed me 3 times before the visit and never mentioned the restaurant restrictions. If they had we would have booked elsewhere. So if,like us,you want a decent restaurant and you happen to want to stay at the weekend-don't book here.
