My family and I recently stayed at the Grand Park Royal Cancun for our summer vacation, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. Having had a wonderful time during my previous visit five years ago, I was truly looking forward to this stay. On the positive side, the hotel's location is still excellent, offering beautiful views and convenient access to the beach. Moreover, their drink selection was decent, providing a small solace amidst the disappointments. However, the decline in service and food quality left us thoroughly dissatisfied. One major safety concern was the lack of floor mats or anti-slip padding around the jacuzzi area. Both my son and daughter suffered unfortunate accidents, slipping and hitting their heads on the marble floor tiles. I strongly suggest that the hotel takes immediate action to prevent similar incidents in the future by implementing safety measures in such high-risk areas. Another letdown was the significant decline in the quality and variety of food since my last visit. This aspect was one of the highlights during my previous stay, and it's disheartening to witness the evident drop in standards. Our stay at the Grand Park Royal Cancun was absolutely magnificent! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The location is truly unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea and a pristine private beach. The all-inclusive experience exceeded our expectations. The variety and quality of the dining options were outstanding, with something to please every palate. The drinks were top-notch, and the service at all the bars was impeccable. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and impeccably clean. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of keeping everything tidy and refreshed. The pools were sparkling clean and refreshing, and there were plenty of loungers available. The beach was also well-maintained and perfect for relaxing or enjoying water activities. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible staff, especially Yajahira! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable vacation. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine desire to please were truly remarkable. We felt pampered and well-cared for throughout our entire stay. The Grand Park Royal Cancun is the perfect destination for a relaxing and luxurious all-inclusive getaway. We can't wait to return!"

We stayed in a VIP room and were treated like royalty. Our butler took care of everything for us. We didn’t need to make dinner reservations and we had a daybed near the ocean or by the pool every day for free. Everywhere and everything was clean, food was fresh and the bread was amazing. We ended up never leaving the hotel. Everything was there, so much to do and see. Loved just hanging out on our terrace too. The view was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Mi experiencia fue mala ya que los meseros tenían preferencia en atender a los extranjeros, fui con mi familia y lo estaban remodelando todo lo que tiraban caía en la alberca no se percataban de sacar el material. Lo tuve que hacer yo directamente ya que mi hija estaba en la alberca

Just got back from 8 nights at Grand Park Royal Cancun and all I can say is WOW! We were absolutely blown away in the best possible way. The property is gorgeous. There is a little bit of construction and updating going on at the resort, but we didn’t find that it impacted our stay at all. The staff was also incredible. I would like to give special shout outs for a few people: our butler Jessica was kind and prompt with all our requests for dinner and cabana reservations, and she tried to help when my boyfriend lost his debit card. Truly a remarkable person. The bartenders Erika and Alexander made some of the best margaritas around and never let us go thirsty, with prompt friendly service. Miguel at the taco stand got us to try some fabulous different taco varieties and was always friendly. The day time server at the steak house (I can’t remember his name!) was really remarkable, friendly, and kind. Finally, the housekeeping and turndown staff!! Our room was always in pristine condition, wine was brought fresh to the room everyday, and we were even blessed with a little rose petal surprise one day after coming home from an excursion. I can’t thank this resort enough, and I hope they know they have a repeat customer for life! ✨✨✨✨ 10/10.

Food and ala carte were great. The staff were fantastic except for the front desk. We had many issues during our stay and the front desk did nothing to help. Security was bad. Beach sellers used the stairs to the hotel as a hide away and the bushes by the premier tower as a bathroom. Everyday we were approach about membership. 2 or 3 times a day it became sickining. We will never recommend or go back to this Hotel. Been to Mexico many times. For a two week holiday this was by far the worst.

The concierge is not-so-cleverly disguised. They are more recruiters for Time Share/Club Members than anything else... I found this to be a huge turn off. Before you get to go to your room (after) a long day of travel, the hotel will very deviously set you up with one of these concierge types, they'll take you on a tour of the grounds (why?) and arrange for you to attend a presentation. Other than that, the resort is well kept, clean, and comfortable. Serving staff in the a la carte's is exceptional! Maid staff - also exceptional! Massive beach area! Pool serving staff excellent (Erika)! They do offer golf cart rides for those with mobility issues - be warned: this resort is spread out with a couple inclines and you're walking on stone paths, but easy figure out the lay of the land. I'd say overall, slightly above average - with a few quirks. The Italian restaurant has great service, atmosphere, and salad bar, but the main courses are 6.5/10 at best.
