i requested a spoon at 10pm. The reception promises me they will bring me one. so i wait at my room with my food. so i wait wait wait wait wait wait for a very long time. finally, is 11 am in morning, time to check out. i still havn't got the spoon. did the staff lost his way? or still printing names on the spoon?

The room is ok but the toilet is a little dirty. The hotel is quite old and it has to be renovated. Stay for one night is ok.

Hotel was located in a convenient area of Silverlake and was in a clean and safe building, with a secure parking garage with an ample number of spaces. Besides these positives, there were also several problems related to some odd and inconvenient experiences. First, the second floor room we were in had a distinct and noticeable slant to the floor, which caused the dresser drawers to slide open on their own. Second on the morning following our first night's stay (Friday) the front desk called our room phone, waking us up, just to ask if we wanted room cleaning services! The "Do Not Disturb" sign was on the door and yet they decide to call early on a Saturday morning to ask such a question. This is the first time I've had this happen in any hotel I've stayed at. Besides the disruption of being awakened early on a Saturday morning, we also didn't get clean towels or garbage removed as a result since it seemed like they wanted to clean the room right then. Why have door signs if that is how housekeeping is organized?? Finally, with the room being near the elevator, we were not able to get back to sleep due to numerous staff pushing carts and other equipment into/out of the elevator, while also calling and receiving calls on walkie-talkies. There were a few other minor issues with items being in disrepair or damaged, such as in the bathroom & the lock on the door, but those were minor. It all just seemed really unprofessional and lacking in consideration for their guests.

Great location, great room.

No one was at the lobby when I arrived to check in. I waited for over 5 minutes and ended up having to call the hotel in hopes someone would answer so I could say I was waiting to check in. Nope no answer. Waited another 5 minutes and finally she came! he hotel was very clean and updated but bed is hard as a rock.
