Rooms were a little dated, but acceptable and clean. The common areas were recently renovated and nice. Not sure why so many people left towels and pizza boxes on hall, which seems tacky, but I am not taking that in account in my rating, as that is more a clientele issue I feel. The lady working the breakfast bar was noticeably put out and seemed irritable, and sort of grunted when I said good morning, and it made an impression on my wife and grandkids how unfriendly she was. There was a storm that blew in the night before and the lake front patio furniture was all over the back yards and cushions everywhere. I think this and the lady aforementioned were both due to being short handed possibly, so I am taking that into consideration, but I paid full price to be on the lake so I could enjoy reading in the morning in a peaceful environment, and at the time of checkout around 10:00, no attempt was made to straitened so my grandkids cleaned up patio furniture and put cushions on half of seating for other guests. I would come back again, as these issues were situational, I feel, but I would still have to give the whole experience a 3.5 stars.
