Great stay. The rooms are nice and clean, the whole place is well kept. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. Decent food at the restaurant.

Highly recommend

Room was beautiful and comfortable with ocean view. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary/baby moon and appreciate the kind staff. Everything was excellent from the check in experience, to lovely food and service in restaurant to the incredibly clean and comfy room.

An unfortunate letdown..

I was excited to see the hotel because the reviews were excellent and the rating was high. I was definitely “underwhelmed” when we reached the hotel. We did have “partial” ocean view but our room was directly next to the main road. Traffic was heard at all hours and you saw more of the traffic and condo next door than the ocean. The hotel itself was also a let down. We usually stay at Hilton hotels but thought to try Marriot. The Hotel is quite small, the pool was not heated and so it was freezing! Very few people dared to venture in. Outdoor food services were extremely limited. And the menu was also lacking. They have 2 elevators that permit only 2 people at a time. We took the stairs most days, like a lot of others. Would not have booked if there had been a review explaining the true hotel experience.

Majority of the staff here were exemplary and very courteous. The bartender/staff member at the bar was probably one who took some time to suggest some local spots and helped us with additional dining options. Also, one of the staff that checked us in was very professional. My biggest gripe was the fact that they could not tell us when the heated pool would be up and running. It was supposedly a week before we got there that the heater malfunctioned. I was told on a couple of occasions that it was being "worked" on. The principal reason I selected this hotel was due to the pool area and was advised when booking that it was heated. Extremely disappointed as this ruined the main aspect of this trip for my wife.
