This hotel was not very nice. Immediately upon entering, I noticed a very unpleasant smell. After checking in, I walked up about 10 carpeted stairs to get to my room. The stairs were FILTHY. They obviously had not been vacuumed. The room smelled HORRIBLE, though it appeared to be clean. I opened a window, but eventually it got too cold. I had to leave to pick someone up at the airport, so I closed the window and cranked up the heat and by the time I returned it seems the heat had dissipated some of the bad odor. The beds had filthy (stained) bedspreads on them. The sheets were clean and the beds comfortable. Shower was adequate water pressure and the towels were very thin and small, but clean. The desk furniture was really ratty--by this I mean the vinyl upholstery on the chair was all cracked and peeling off, and the veneer on the desk was peeling off and all scraped up. The floors are tile and didn't seem very clean, and the grout is filthy in the bathroom. The "breakfast" that is included was: a banana, instant oatmeal, stale packaged pastries, coffee, Lipton tea and instant hot chocolate, and apple juice and orange juice. That's all.
All in all, this room was ok for a quick overnight stay if you're not too picky, but definitely NOT worth the price of the room. The only Super 8 I've ever stayed in that was worse was one in Alaska that was so horrible that Hotels.com wouldn't publish my review. In my experience Super 8 is usually a decent lower priced hotel.
