The people staying here seem to like to smoke tobacco, marijuana, and other harsher smelling substances. They smoke near the building and it seeps into the rooms. I did not get good sleep the 3 nights I stayed here. The first room I was assigned was so smoky smelling, they immediately had to assign me a different room. The second one was okay until I returned later that evening. It wasn't as bad as the first room but still bad enough that I had a lot of trouble sleeping. The third room was the best, though I did get a slight amount of tobacco smoke for a little while from a couple of guys loitering in the nearby hallway. The mattresses are thin and unsupportive so I still didn't get great sleep in the third room. The second room's TV didn't work very well. The third room's TV was smaller but worked better. The rooms were acceptably clean, though there was a huge, old cobweb in the corner of my third room. I didn't have a car but noticed parking was $10/night. There's a free Continental breakfast. Overall, I would say this motel is a level below your typical Motel 6. It's below what I would normally find acceptable but the problem is there are no affordable places to stay near Downtown Nashville. There's a huge gap in the lodging market and you're likely to pay more than double for a decent place to stay. This place isn't actually in Downtown. It's in a somewhat sketchy part of town across the bridge from Downtown.
