Do not waste your time and stay here it’s an horrible place to stay they had no water working imagine not being showered or flushing the toilet. When called to the front desk to ask how long will the water take to come on the answer they would give us I don’t know. Rather stay at a motel I went their with my wife and 1 year old worst experience ever do not stay here.

I like that there were several restaurants to choose from & the staff was always amazing. Spa was excellent as well. I did not like that we booked the adult only side and all the pools were closed for repair on the family side therefore our area was full of kids. Our room refrigerator was not stocked daily and we had to call room service to get a soda/beer.

They completely renovated the adult side but not the family side. Rooms are not updated. Communication is poor when it comes to what amenities are available. For example, I was told that we can use the cabana and that there were 2 different choices- wine and champagne packages. Only to find out that they changed the package to only champagne. My family doesn’t need to drink champagne and I don’t think you should be forced to just so they can make more money. I asked if there was an option for those that don’t drink or only drink wine. No other options were offered to make their customers happy. The cabanas weren’t being utilized and they stated that they were for their “premier” customers. This is not what you tell your customers. (Side note: their premier customers are those that purchase a timeshare sort of deal-& mind you they are not even at full capacity) Food was good. Service was good, but only to a certain extent. Also, considering that we are in a pandemic, the video information that you see isn’t totally true. The disinfectant for the shoes..the mats were dry. They just have that wet look affect. Sanitizer and masks was definitely utilized by the staff. There are six feet reminders which is good, but not necessarily followed by the staff and other guests. They sanitized the beach chairs after they were used. I suggest you bring your own sanitizer just to make sure you are safe.

Really like to concept of Hard Rock. My family and self had a wonderful time. However, the food and beverages need some improvement.

My husband lives in Cancun and every time I visit him with the kids we go for a few days to a hotel !!! This is the worst hotel o have been to . We booked 2 deluxe rooms when we got in the rooms were dirty with bugs in the bath showers and on the beds , the sheets were damp the room smelled of moist , after the manager came and 2 hours later they gave us 2 other rooms on the third floor , we slept there and in the morning had bed bugs bites on our bodies , we were so figurâtes this is the first time we have such a bad experience, here is a couple of pics I took of the rooms

We really enjoyed our stay, food is very good, service also very good (not as good as other resorts we’ve stayed at ie Excellence Playa Mujeres, Secrets DeVine & Hyatt Ziva). Only complaint compared to the previous resorts is that they do not have a hospitality room and they charge $30usd after 3 pm on your check out day, usually hotels let you stay until you have to go to the airport for a late flight at no charge. This is a dealbreaker for me, will not stay at HR again because of that. But we really enjoyed our stay and the food. Great beach as well and the slides are fun.

Nice beach areas, nice spa, great gym and that’s where the positives stop. Butler “service” pathetic, room had water leaks and they finally repaired and it left the smell of intoxicating glue in the room for hours. Management and taking responsibility for poor service and responding to our concerns was non-existent. The guarantee of having management contact us on 3 separate occasions never took place. We love Riviera Maya, but the Hard Rock was a huge disappointment.

Best all inclusive we’ve been to! Food and drinks were great! Service is top notch and there are so many things to do around the resort for adults and kids. Will definitely be back and bringing the kids with us next time!
