Very strategically located :D very close to lexington and park ave. The room is not that big but the beds are comfy. It's still walking distance to korean town to get some nice food. The bad thing about the hotel is that the elevator is very small and you can only fit two large luggage once. Luckily my room was on second floor. The lock in our room is a bit rusty..

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room had a desk which I needed for work. Will stay here next time I visit NY. Only complaint is walls were a little thin.

I loved this quirky hotel! I will happily stay again. The location was great, a stroll for an hour took us to Central Park. Nearby subways took us wider afield. There are great restaurants in adjacent streets. The room was warm, this hotel does not shirk on the heating. There was ample storage for a three day stay and the dark wood furnishings have room for suitcases on top. I loved the lift, it was old school, like the hotel. There was a small TV, ice bucket but no kettle. As a Brit, the only thing I found different was the shared bathroom. I wasn't a fan on hearing someone have a shower knowing that I would be using it after... the room had a sink, plenty of towels :)

Staff friendly, location central and safe. Close to subway. We were scared of bed bugs due to recent reviews. We found that those reviews were false and probably from a disgruntled employee/customer because their bedding is layered, w a beg bug protector and a tamper alarm. We had no issues w bugs of any kind. The shared bathroom was always clean and we actually saw staff doing the disinfecting one morning. We stayed 3 nights
