Never Again!
The A/C in the unit was broken and i reported it right away on day one and for the next two days, it was not until our third night there that they made other accomodations. I went to a family wedding soaked in sweat from being in the hotel. Another thing is that the website mentioned a kitchen with its corresponding dishes and silverware but we only found one spoon and one drinking glass but it did have 4 plates and 4 bowls. Third thing is that upon check on Thursday they asked for the days i wanted service since they did not service the rooms daily, I asked for Saturday, but when we returned to the room Saturday evening nothing have been done to the room, not even clean towels.

Average hotel
When checked in on Friday around 11pm, I was given room 224. When I opened the door of my room, I heard the TV is still on, I looked inside the room and the bed hasn’t been made. It seems the room is occupied so I came down to talk to the front desk. I was again given another room, room 410. This room does not have a hair dryer, the carpet smells bad. My 8 year old boy on Saturday 6/4/2022 wanted to swim so we went down to the pool. The pool area is very hot, very uncomfortable to stay or sit on the chair while waiting for my son to swim. Overall, not a good stay for my family.

RESEARCH BEFORE STAYING
DO NOT use the pictures online as a guide for your stay. There are window units in most of the rooms. The hotels is far from new and it shows. They have a sign posted stating that they are remodeling but they are a LONG way off from being done. The exterior of the building is very lacking in appeal and needs a lot of work. They charge you $10 to park in the hotels parking lot. This was not disclosed when we booked. We stayed in room 400, one of the few units with no window a/c. The room was ok. We were a family of 5 and there was plenty of room for us however, the room is very old. Needs a whole new bathroom and new appliances. The a/c thermometer fell off the wall when we tried to adjust and the parking lot lighting shone right through the curtains. Some reviews state the elevator is broken but it is not. We had no issue with the elevator. It is just very old. The room was over priced to say the least. However, it is all about convenience. We were 2 minutes from Six Flags and the ball parks which was nice. The pool was open and clean which made my little ones happy. The one saving grace of this location are the employees. They were all wonderful, gracious, and very accommodating. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees and their cheery attitudes. We have stayed in many Homewood Suites by Hilton, this particular location has been the worst because of the aging of the building and room accommodations in relation to price paid.

Very disappointed
Terrible service. Dingy hotel and the staff is friendly but incompetent. It’s hard to believe this is a hotel under the Hilton umbrella. I actually checked out early and moved to a different hotel, a Marriott. It was like night and day….
