The room was very spacious and clean. There was a stovetop and refrigerator which was pretty cool. The bed was very stiff and noisy. The desk attendant was very stern about the room rules. overall it was a comfortable stay

Good and Bad Experience
Nice place,clean,good rate but the only problem I saw it was the front desk was asking for id of the other guests when my friends were coming later and other hotels don't ask for this. Plus deposit is only in cash,and here says cc or debit card, so I had to go to and ATM machine to get it. Very inconvenient and here page listed different options and there only cash. That makes you feel disatisfied before your friends come to the place.

My Favorite Motel in Hallandale (near Aventura)
I’ve stayed at Richards 8 times and enjoy the friendly staff of one; For a low priced hotel, it has more amenities than a Hilton Hotel nearby. There is a small kitchen with stove,fridge,microwave. The Hilton does not have any of these amenities.Richards supplies plenty of towels, soft pillows and very comfy beds. Rooms are soundproof it seems, too. They have free high speed wifi and cable is excellent—all clear channels. Lots of restaurants nearby.

If you dont mind being treated like a junkie.
I am a repeat customer that has spent a lot of money with the company over the last year and a half but apparently that doesnt matter to the staff. The employees at this place have zero customer service to offer. They are used to dealing with the local junkies and prostitutes in the area so they treat you as if you are one of them even if you are only looking for a place on a budget while you are in town for work. I come here from time to time when in town for the auto auctions. I have never caused any problems here. I pay my money, stay and leave quietly. There have been plenty of times that i could have complained about the junkies walking the property begging me for money or arguing and screaming amongst each other. There have been multiple times where i have checked in and i am standing at my front door with all my bags and luggage strapped to me but i cannot get into the room. They do not have a keycard system. They have old fashioned hard keys that anybody can make a copy of at Walmart for a dollar or 2. So sometimes the locks get worn out and the keys get jammed where it wont unlock the door. Wich then i have to travel up and down the stairs back and forth, dragging all my luggage till they gave me a key that worked or moved me to a different room completely. I could have complained about the garbage bags filled with trash that the cleaning crew left behind, at my front door from the last tenant. I once alerted the front desk manager about the trash at my door and he
