I picked this hotel for the location of a cycling race event I participated in, the next day. The hotel is not very clean. Room is extremely worn, had stains of who knows what on walls throughout room and on shower curtain. The sheets in the bed though seemed clean, felt like I was trying to sleep in sandpaper sheets. As mentioned, I chose the stay for its location for an event where it was important to get a good nights sleep. Night played out as follows: In bed by 8 PM, housekeeping knocks on the door at 11 PM (I answered door to explain I was there). 1250 AM in the morning phone rings it’s the front desk they ask, “are you checked in?” I answer, “I’m in the room aren’t I?” They hang up. 10 minutes (1 AM!) later front desk calls again telling me that I’m not showing that I’m checked into the hotel and I need to come down to the front desk to pay a $20 check in fee to show that I am checked in on the computer per managements recommendation. Frustrated, I get dressed and go down and pay the fee. I return to my room get to bed to have housekeeping knocking on my door 15 minutes later!! Of course at this point I just yell from my bed, “ I’m in here!” I was not getting out of bed.. needed sleep. 430 AM I was so wound up, I could not get any sleep. I ended up gathering my belongings, I wanted to leave this hotel immediately! I have not been able to reach Indea the manager regarding my stay, she will not return my calls/ they blocked my number some how, so now at a loss.
