I reserved through Hotels.com to stay Friday and Saturday nights (August 8 and 9). I was assigned Room 110. Friday night was fine. When I returned following a 12-hour work day on Saturday night, someone else was in my room. They gave my room away! They placed all of my belonging (thankfully nothing was missing!) in a large plastic bag and left them in the laundry room. They told me they had tried to contact me, but I had no calls or emails from anyone all day while I was at work. They did move me to another room, No. 107, for the rest of the night. The room smelled musty, but the AC and the bathroom exhaust fan helped alleviate that problem after a while. My clothes were not handled with care. Everything was damp when I removed them from the plastic bag. I had to use the hairdryer to dry my clothes for sleeping and wearing the next day. When I checked out Sunday morning headed for work, the issue was blamed on the very nice young lady who checked me in on Friday, saying she had me listed in another room instead of the 110 I had been given and spent Friday night in. No one has reached out to me to try to make amends for this error or offer me any sort of refund for my inconvenience.
