From the moment we walked in the front door, we had a bad feeling. The main lobby doors are not automatic, making it hard to enter with luggage.
The male employee who checked us in was rude from the beginning. He definitely does not enjoy working in a customer service position. We had 2 rooms booked with 3 guests. He seemed put off that two of us (a couple) was sharing the same bed in the one room...umm what?!
When we got to the room, the first impression was "okay, this isn't that bad". Then the horrible Florida heat hits us. Why in the world the AC wouldn't have been turned on to a decent temperature is mind boggling.
Then I opened the bathroom door, and the door makes an EXTREMELY LOUD squeaking noise. It is beyond me how any employee goes in and out of that room and doesn't do anything about the door. It's so loud, I'm very surprised they haven't received noise complaints from guests in other rooms.
There was a candy wrapper still on the floor in the bathroom from the previous guest. Hair all over the sink and shower. Gross!
Upon returning to the room later that night, we both prepared for bed. Both of our feet became disgustingly dirty from the floor.
The bed was decently comfortable. But did not sleep the greatest. People were being loud in the hallways at all hours of the night. When getting ready to leave, it was then we noticed the STAINED BED SHEETS! GROSS!!! Then 4 Sheriff cruisers were out front when we left. Won't be back.
