Nice beach front hotel
This hotel is 1 minute walking distance to the Nazare beach. The location cannot be better. The narrow street made loading/unloading luggage a bit challenging, but it is Nazare in general.

Great beach views
We really enjoyed our stay at By The Sea. Centrally located, room was spacious and clean. They offer breakfast across the way which is quite filling. I do wish they would have offered coffee in their kitchenette, as one morning we needed to leave before the breakfast place opened and there was none to have. Thankfully we found a bakery on our way that was open before 8am. Would visit again

We arrived a little early before the hotel was open. We called a contact number and staff cheerfully arrived to admit us. Our room was on the the second floor at the corner with the best view of the nearby beach. The room was small but clean and the view more than compensated. The hotel is steps from the beach, restaurants, and the funicular to take you to the North Shore. We would stay there again and recommend.

O alojamento é simpatico e super limpo, a roupa de cama tem cheiro de limpeza, entao onquarto em si esteve otimo. A localizacao é muito boa. A TV é minuscula, (com o baixo preco das TVs flat screen hoje,!quanto custaria para p dono fazer um upgrade?) O rapaz da recepção é bem grosso no trato Em geral com os hospedes, por exemplo, trabalha ha dois anos no hotel e nao sabia informar onde se podia encontrar estacionamento “porque ele nao é daqui”! Hahaha! So rindo mesmo.

Thena was amazing and very welcoming! The inside of the property resembled a ship including staircase and door of the room. Nautical theme decor. Had a shared kitchen area. The included breakfast was at Nata a cafe across from the hotel which had the BEST Pastel de Nata! Breakfast was basic but good! Overall a very quaint property and would definitely stay there again!

I believe it’s not about this particular hotel, but this area is too busy and full of restaurants. It’s noisy until mid night and started to get noisy with rubbish collecting at 6am. Hard to find a parking is an expected issue, but their staff are very friendly and provided good guides.
