The quality of this hotel was a two star, at best.
The staff was overall friendly. The room overall comfortable. The elevators worked well. The rest was a mess...
This hotel was run down and operations were extremely sloppy. Examples:
* Only two bath towels supplied. No hand towel or bath mat. This was an issue with a shower door that leaked, flooding the bathroom floor.
* Request for more towels took 4 hours
*Buffets run out of food before they close.
*No salsa in the Mexican restaurant for breakfast?! And no guacamole available to go with chips at dinner.
* Non-existent system to organize keys and cars in valet! Paper wrapped around keys and thrown in with the rest, take a long time to check. They have to unwrap and check each one. We told them when we needed the car, and it they failed to note this, causing us to be late because they moved our car to a far away lot. They had no idea where they put it and had to look for it.
* We needed to add an additional night. Front desk couldn't help with the reservation. If you book with hotel (by calling their number), they rate is more than double what you'd pay using someone like hotels.com. They would not honor this pricing.
* Maintenance badly needed around hotel and in rooms. ie. Only the low volume flush side of our toilet worked. Two nights in a row lights wouldn't turn on and we had to call maintenance.
* No drink and food service on beach, and limited around pools.
We do NOT recommend this hotel.
