Could use some work.

This hotel seemed very much in need of a renovation. The rooms were very musty smelling. Hot water took a long time to get hot. Carpet tiled floors were sticky. A/C never got to requested temperature.

For the price we paid this is a below average hotel. Run down, not modern, and below average as far as amenities. Not sure what the deal is with Anchorage but we stayed here because of the expensively priced hotels and for sure didn’t get what we paid for in comparison to other cities we have stayed in.

The one thing I didn't like was that the breakfast was over too early. After an exhausting day we got up and went to breakfast but it was already put away. It ended at 9:00 AM. I liked that they stored our fish in their freezer until we needed to go to the airport even though we were a few hours after checkout. That customer service will get me coming back.

They messed up my reservation I was scheduled for checking out on the 8th . My card worked came back from travel all day my stuff was gone . I don't understand why card worked and they sold my room

I stayed in Building One, the room was clean and comfortable. I requested a room on the shady side as the rooms on the sunny side can get quite warm in the summer sun.

In need of a remodel. Staff was friendly though.

The room was very worn out. The curtains were broken and had holes throughout them (some were partially patched, most were not). The room was very hot, and the small AC unit did not do much to cool it down. The shower tub had several cracks and repairs in it. The bathroom door didn't open propertly because the floor was warped so it scraped the floor. The hall way had an overpowering floral smell from some sort of air freshener to cover up some other smell. The staff were friendly at least.

Convenient Location with Airport Shuttle

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on our Alaska family vacation. I am not sure if they were working on the property but there were a few things different than the online photos. Pros-they offer airport shuttle that takes about 15-20 minutes for pickup but the driver was very nice. The front desk people were nice and friendly though not super helpful (explained in cons), the a/c and hot water worked decently, I liked there was a sink outside of the main bathroom area as well as one within, there is onsite breakfast that was typical continental breakfast. Cons--there is no gym on property as shown in the photos. We asked if there was one and they just said no, not sure if it is part of what appears to be a remodel in the next building. I called a week before to tell them I would be using a different card to pay because there were issues with the card I booked with, I also called the day before to remind them and they said there would be no issue. When we arrived they had already run the card causing issues I had to deal with. We sent our youngest down to get some extra pillows and he was sent back being told they would send some up. 30 minutes later we went back down and she said "oh sorry, I forgot to tell you we don't have any extra pillows" Hundreds of rooms and you don't have a single extra pillow? It's not the hotels fault, but if you are on one side of the hotel your view is into people's backyards-not a big deal but not how their photos show it.
