The unit was nice and clean but still a little bit smaller than portraid and the "ocean" view isn't a real ocean view, it was a little but of sea you could see km's away between buildings. Also being on vacation a felt being on a curfew because after 10 they didn't let anyone go un not even to drop you off and my building was like a 2-3 minute walk from the gate. No one can go in after 10 not even to have like a glass of wine, I understand if it was like a group of people but not like just 1 person. The staff was thankfully overall friendly though.... I've stayed at many properties and hotels and ar this one unfortunately ai will never stay anymore...

The location was great, close enough to walk into Willemstad and just far enough for peaceful evenings and nights. As a kid I was part of a tour with school at the Ritz ice cream factory which I didn't know had been converted into this hotel. The setup of the apartment is nice with great views. The oven/stove and washer/dryer were a little difficult to figure out with out manuals.The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be recommending the Ritz and will probably also be back.

Prettige en vriendelijke ontvangst met een lekker ijsje. Kamer is erg netjes en er is ruim kookgerei beschikbaar mocht je een keer zelf willen koken. Leuke urban beach aanwezig en op loopafstand van het centrum. De kamers zijn wel redelijk gehorig dus oordoppen zijn wel handig om goed te kunnen slapen. Een wasrek om je natte handdoeken of kleding op te hangen zou handig zijn.

False advertising
False advertising. This property is not located on a beachfront. One of their pools has sand from the beach around it (man made) to give you the feel of the beach and no where in their ads on Hotels.com did they say that. When it was brought to the attention of the check in staff, we were “brushed off” and was told to speak to management when they arrived on the Monday (we checked in on Friday evening). Further to that, apparently ALL the staff were then told that we were “complainers” and when they saw us on the compound, they immediately identified us as the people who complained. Apart from that, the lock on our door didn’t work and we were told we can have another room which we viewed but decided it was not to our liking. They promised to send someone to fix the lock but he never came till Sunday morning. Our room was one of the penthouses which were newly built but yet there was no light in the laundry room, no ventilation in the bathroom and no lights outside our room (which was a lonely location). We met a few friendly reception staff in the days that followed but overall would not recommend as this hotel is only selling dreams using the photos on the site.

Nice location close to the centre. Friendly and amazing cleaning team. Some apartments and penthouses have a view on the parkinglot. Low waterpressure and medium warm water in the shower. Few efforts from staff to fix these issues, not very flexible, answers include ‘dont let this ruin your vacation’ or ‘try running around the lake’. Price does not match expectation.
