The room was amazing. Very clean, the bed was so comfortable, my only issue is the resturaunts. Dinner service was slow, took over 20 minutes for a server to acknowledge I existed after being seated by the host, and this set the mood for the rest of the meal as I was chronically ignored or left alone for long periods of time (took over half an hour to try and get my check). Breakfast was no better, did not even end up having it as got fed up waiting for a server to come as it again took over 20 minutes and my table was never even acknowledge by a single server.

Great hotel brilliant location so near the sea great ambiance you can feel the atmosphere and the odd ghost can be seen

We had an amazing stay at Clontarf Castle. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas time. I would highly recommend to stay here.

Amazing hotel, really great service and such a cute hotel.

Nice hotel in a leafy suburb of Clontarf. Blended the old castle well into new modern hotel but kept character. Breakfast good. Good room with all mods,cons and bottled water and coffee. No pool.

Friendly efficient service. Lovely room and premises

The location is perfect for space and a romantic couples time. The food is fantastic both in the restaurant and bar area. The staff from recption to hospitality were all so friendly. Covid 19 precautions were adhered too well. Overall, the hotel is a great place to relax and enjoy however if you are sensitive to noise then room 335 is probably not the best as you can hear delivery trucks and glass bottles being sorted into the recyling units below. If the times for doing this was later in the day I am sure it would not be an issue

Beautiful castle with loads of history :) great rooms and in a nice quiet location not far from Dublin City
