Friendly staff, hotel needs a refurb, rooms a bit tatty. No aircon but reception did open windows wider when requested by removing child safety latch.

Very functional and basic room. Good for 1 night stay as convinent for the airport. Easy to check in and out. My only 2 issues, I had a heavy bag and had to navigate some steps on the second floor to get to the room which was not easy. And with the heat wave and despite having a fan in the room, it was very stuffy and once I opened the window that backed into the garden, the room was full of insects so had to close the window and sweat the night out

Booked this as our friends in Cheshire didn't have space. This was during the early opening of COVID, must say the hotel was good with social distancing etc. Gel everywhere, masks etc. The room OK but, housekeeping didn't do mugs and put more milk/coffee in room, but on asking this was supplied, this could happen anywhere.

Stay was fine. Room a bit disappointing. Needs updating. Carpet drab.Bedding was clean. Towels were clean and thick.

Great service and staff Rooms need a bit of attention

We asked for a morning call but luckily I woke and woke the others because we didn’t get the call ! It was booked for the room next ours by mistake and there were no guests in the room ! The taxi charged waiting time which I think the hotel should reimburse me for ! I paid £15 instead of £12 which was expensive for a short ride. I think a shuttle bus is the answer !

Excellent hotel, breakfast was especially good.

Booked a room for my myself, husband and teenage daughter normally this would mean she wouldhave a sofa bed but this hotel provided a proper bed. We had not brought enough toothbrushes and they provided one for free. Very nice breakfast plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Parking was free. The only minus was a wedding party was taking place and the music was played until 1am. We had a late night so it was not a major problem to us.
