1. We were charged for our room at 3pm but didnt check in till 930pm
2. We were charged 2 times
3. Our bathroom.shower had old soap, shampoo, and pubic hair litering the entire shower
4. Reatiner cleaning tablets left from previous occupant
5. Refrigerator was burning hot and not replaced until almost 24 hrs later.
Shower flooded the first night had to have front desk worker come and plunge the shower
This all occured withing the first 1 hour we were there. Asked for a new room and they were sold out. Asked for the manager, was told he would be in 9am the next morning which would have been Saturday. Finally was offered a new refrigerator at 3pm Saturday, and housekeeping cleaned the shower but still many visible stains and grime.
Manager finally spoke to me at 830 sunday night, after he stated it was a courtesy for him to be there and speak to me because he was only there for paperwork. I requested our entire first night be refunded, he only allowed 50% off which the amount on my card is still not correct. Also the price my receipt on hotels.com vrs what i was charged at the hotel was different. I am disappointed in the experiance we had because otherwise it is a beautiful hotel with a decent breakfast
But the manager is really not good management material and wanted to blame everyone else instead of accepting he should have been present Saturday morning or at least called me. (My phone number was given to the front desk to have him call me)
