The room was everything I expected. We pay extra for the Gold Room lounge. We were most unhappy.
Service was either excellent or you had to stand on your chair and wave to get service. The worst was the food. Previously, there were warming trays with excellent food promoting the cuisine of Quebec. Now, breakfast reminded me of staying at a Holiday Inn. Didn’t stay over lunch, but in the evening, more disappointment. I could hardly believe I couldn’t get a coffee. Mind you, I overheard the staff offering to get coffee for another customer. So, I didn’t count, I guess. The pastries were less than inspiring. So, I will never stay in the gold rooms again.
