Stayed here Christmas Eve and WOW, the pictures don’t do it justice, absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, bicycles and car charger but the best part was the customer service, Tony went out of his way to accommodate all our request. Room 24 was very spacious, bright, clean and the bed was comfortable. We walked to downtown PS and the hiking trail, great location. Wish we’d been able to use the fire place in our room and that there was at least a water bottle in a 4 star hotel but we carry a case in the car so it was ok, the coffee when we woke up made up for it. Covid precautions taken, Melvyn’s was closed, hopefully we’ll try it when we return, can’t wait to stay here again.

i had a great time, during cv 19 there was not any one around so i had the pool and jacuzzi to myself which i loved. it felt like i was the only person there, i requested a room that didnt have anyone next to me. so that was such a lux.. thank you all for being so wonderful. we will be back.

Favorite Palm Springs Inn

I stayed here twice on my way to the central coast from Tucson and back. The second time Tim upgraded me to room 14 which was perfect. Thank you Tim. I have stayed at the Inn many times and I love it. I had room service from Melvyns their sugniture chicken pot pie and it was terrific .

Such a special historic property! It is a private and peaceful little paradise. It felt like the safest place to be during this pandemic and, while there were limited options for food, the sister property right next door had delicious offerings. The dining experience at Melvyn’s is not to be missed! We just rolled right into our lovely Haber suite after a lovely meal.

I really love this hotel. I had a lovely large room (#24) with a sofa & 2 chairs and private patio, at the end of the building so windows looking out on both the patio and the garden. I especially love the pool, and the fact that it was away enough from any of the buildings to feel a bit more private & secluded. I also appreciate the fact that they haven't altered the pool, like so many other properties, to remove the deep end. It's not much fun swimming in a pool that's only 4' deep from end to end so I do hope they never change that. I also appreciate the fact that it was very quiet, no piped-in music everywhere to get on your nerves. The on-site restaurant was closed while I was there, during the week, so there was no breakfast available on-site or room service, only coffee in the Reception area, upon request (not self-service). I understand the restaurant is now open from Wed. thru Sunday however. The mini-bars have also been removed so there wasn't even a complimentary bottle of water to be had in the room or anywhere else. Under the circumstances, it seems that is the least that they could have provided. I will plan to revisit but I hope when I return the usual amenities will have been restored. I must also mention the bed in room 24, which was anything but firm. It was quite saggy & seemed somewhat unstable. My friend, in room 23, said that hers was fine however. Overall, a very pleasant experience and one that I do plan to repeat.

Brilliant Gem Shines Bright in Palm Springs

One of the last bastions of historic glam and desert spirit from old Hollywood. With secluded patios and quiet nooks scattered throughout the property, Ingleside Inn is the best place to 'get away' and forget about everything you left behind. Quiet, centrally located, ample parking, kind and efficient staff that goes that extra mile, which is both a rarity and another throw-back to a by gone era. With all of the modern conveniences like USB charger ports, Smart TVs, amazing water pressure and beautifully redone bathrooms, I really can't imagine staying anywhere else.
